CTIC: Designing Strength at Lochies Primary

One participant commented “Look, I did this all by myself!”

At Lochies Primary, pupils explored resilience, independence, and self-regulation through creative projects. One activity involved designing a superhero cape, allowing the pupil to tackling challenges creatively while building their resilience. In one session the superhero acted out fictional scenarios ‘rescuing people from emergencies’.

Alongside this, one of the pupils created a meditation visual soundtrack as a regulation aid. We loved facilitating these creative experiences for the young people at Lochies and witnessing them develop strategies for managing challenges independently and the pride they had in their work.
