What a fantastic morning we had at @PlayAlloa today. It's a place full of energy and positivity. We listened to some really thought provoking and inspiring stories from their young people about their experiences before and after attending Play Alloa, from a truly inspiring employee and volunteer Lisa Hertwig, about her experiences living with Cystic Fibrosis, from Emma Scott of Disability Equality Scotland about her role and collaboration with PA, from Maria and her brilliant Play Alloa team, and from all the other organisations who came along and shared insight into their experiences of the challenges and platforms to young people with disabilities.
A huge well done to the Play Alloa young people who very bravely stood up and spoke about some very personal issues and experiences, and to all the Play Alloa young people who worked so hard on their visual displays for us. We were really impressed and are looking forward to many future collaborations; you are all so creative!
