Throwback to our captivating visit to George's remarkable solo exhibition at the Tolbooth Stirling.
In December 2023, we celebrated the artistic processes of Reachout's very own Artist Facilitator, George Farrow Hawkins, through a solo exhibition held at the Tolbooth in Stirling. The exhibition not only featured screenings of George's outstanding films produced between 2018 and 2023 but also showcased the intricate processes, dioramas, and model figures used in the creation of his mesmerising short films.
During our visit to the exhibition, George generously offered insights into the elaborate techniques and processes that breathe life into his mesmerising animations. Reachout members learned about the behind-the-scenes efforts and skills that go into creating a stop motion short film, gaining a deeper appreciation for the artistry involved.
To top it off, members had the unique opportunity to unleash their creativity by crafting their own stop-motion short films.
